Liatris punctata- Dotted Blazing Star

Dotted Blazing Star makes a statement in the garden with its slender spires of densely packed purple flowers that rise above narrow, grass-like foliage. It has tremendous ecological value, providing nectar for pollinators, food for caterpillars, and seed for birds. This is the shortest of the Liatris species and the most drought tolerant. Stunning as a cut flower.
