Sweet Joe Pye Weed reaches impressive heights in the garden with strong upright stems that terminate in large, feathery clusters of small pink flowers. These stunning inflorescences persist for many weeks or even months towards the end of the growing season, attracting a parade of butterflies and other pollinators. Its tiered whorls of large, elongated leaves provide not only visual appeal but ecological benefit as they host the caterpillars of numerous moth species. Tolerates shade and a slightly drier soil than does its cousin Joe Pye Weed. Deer resistant
