Bush’s Poppy Mallow is a striking addition to any drier garden bed, wowing all summer long with rich magenta blooms that remain open during the day and close in the evening, adding dynamic interest to the garden. While it can grow up to 2ft tall, this poppy mallow tends to stay lower to the ground with its dense foliage spreading out like a carpet, suppressing weeds and stabilizing soil, making it an excellent ground cover choice for erosion-prone areas or slopes. It is resilient and easy-to-grow and will readily self-seed under the right conditions.
