Zizia aurea-Golden Alexanders

Golden Alexanders boasts brilliant yellow flower umbels up to four inches in diameter that make a bold visual statement through the spring months. These blooms are an important early-season nectar source for short-tongues insects that cannot reach the treasures of more tubular flowers. Its dark green, uniquely cut foliage provides a lush, elegant backdrop for its neighbors throughout the growing season.
