Orange Coneflower is an iconic Illinois native with a robust performance and striking visual appeal. It produces an abundance of cheerful, daisy-like flowers with golden-yellow petals and a prominent, dark purple-brown central cone. These showy blooms rise above a lush backdrop of dark green foliage and persist from mid-summer through the fall, attracting an array of pollinators. Its seeds provide a winter food source for birds. Spreads rhizomatically to form a dense clump. A nice addition to cut flower arrangements.
